Vicki Bleile was born and raised in Wisconsin, where she developed a passion for the outdoors. “I grew up in a family where free time quite naturally involved some sort of outdoor activity. Family vacations were planned according to what season was open or which fish were running.” Her other love was art. It was only a matter of time before the two joined and Wall Mountain Studio was born.
Since 1986, Vicki has made her home at the foot of Wall Mountain in North Idaho. It is not unusual to look out her studio window and see deer or moose browsing nearby, as well as occasional visits from elk, bear, and cougar, offering an endless amount of material for future work.
The scenery of Boundary County and the animals which inhabit it have become the focus of her art.

RJ cohn of  Boundary County Digest, Nov. 2007, wrote;
 Depending on the size of her canvas and detailing involved, a painting can take her from two to six weeks. “I paint about an inch an hour”say’s Vicki. She paints for a three, to
Four hour stretch, each day. “It’s definitely slow going.” She works off a photograph she has taken herself, penciling an outline on canvas, and highlighting shaded areas.
Still, Bleile’s talent, tenacity and reputation as an artist are just beginning to branch out to another level: Attempting to build a cottage industry by producing digital canvas prints of her paintings

 Her website is a must see of all the local artist.
